Sidefy is now Nunc. This release also adds a Desktop Event Wall as an alternative to the screen-edge timeline, lets you show or hide event color bars and the current-event selection box, and removes the free edition.
Availability
- Free edition removed - The feature-limited free download is no longer offered. Nunc is a one-time purchase on the Mac App Store.
Desktop Event Wall
- Desktop Event Wall - Choose Advanced Settings → Surface to show either the timeline or a wallpaper-level event wall
- Background and columns - Adjust the wall background and how many event columns to show
Appearance
- Event color bar - Show or hide the color bar on timeline bubbles and the desktop wall under Events → Show Event Color Bar
- Current event selection box - Show or hide the outline on the current event under Events → Show Current Event Selection Box
- Font size - Appearance Settings → Font → Size now includes Small, Medium, Large, and Larger
- All-day events - Show or hide all-day events under Events → Show All-Day Events (on by default)
RSS
- Per-feed toggles - Enable or disable individual feeds from Plugins → RSS Reader
MCP
- Local server - The local MCP server is removed.
Plugins
- GitHub - The built-in GitHub plugin is removed. Use community plugins instead.
